An original hound from Hell infiltrated Opera on Friday! Gasp! . . . . . Pause for reaction! We are just tricking you ATL, after all isn’t that what Halloween is all about, tricking one another? Don’t be frightened we would never do that to you guys. Halloween is the only holiday that encourages and obligates everyone to dress up so the Opera staff was ready from Indian Chief hotties running around VIP to Chun Li mixing up drinks at the bar. We decided to give you a spooky treat by bringing Madeon to turn the place up on this witching hour. Slowly the building started to fill up with ravers with every type of costume you can imagine. Unlike your stereotypical Halloween Madeon concocted a night of EDM mischief that had everyone from a medium turn up to an all high frenzy. Lasers where going left and right, we had confetti in the air! The Turn up was real!
                  Halloween is an all-time favorite holiday of Opera so we couldn’t bring just anyone to celebrate with us. Madeon’s impressive journey as an uprising DJ made him the best choice. Madeon started composing music at the age of 11. He originally started DJing under the name of DJ Deamon but later changed to Madeon in 2010.  He likes to trifle with French and Electro House and during Lady Gaga’s Born This way Ball, Madeon got to tour with her as the opening act!
                  Although Halloween is known to be scary and spooky, there was none of that going on Friday. The venue was full of dancing and merry drinking. There is just something about dressing up that brings the party to a nice solid 11 on a scale of 1-10, so it was pretty much crazy! It’s a bit saddening that the holiday has come and gone but luckily EDM Fridays are still at an all strong! Next year cannot come soon enough but the silver lining is that you can still dress up for EDM events. Yay! May we make these nights last forever!
